UPKIP AS with several new customer cases at Stord and Bømlo, Norway

Three inspiring days on the Norwegian coast – launching new industrial digitalization projects

We’ve just returned from three fantastic days out by the ocean at Bømlo and Stord, where we kicked off several new industrial digitalisation initiatives and facilitated a series of high‑energy workshops. Over the course of the trip, we had the pleasure of visiting five different companies, each eager to explore how modern machine connectivity and smarter data use can transform daily operations.

Across these visits, a clear pattern emerged:
Industrial companies are ready to move from plans to practical, value‑driven digitalization.
From production managers to operational teams, the motivation to streamline processes, reduce downtime, and get more value from existing equipment has never been stronger.

Digitalizing machine fleets across Norway

At Upkip, we’re fortunate to travel across the country and work side‑by‑side with companies that want to increase efficiency through data‑driven operations. Whether it’s connecting a legacy machine fleet, enabling real‑time production insights, or supporting operators with better decision tools – our mission is the same:

Make industrial operations simpler, smarter, and more predictable.
Help teams free up time while improving output and quality.

The interest we are seeing now tells us that Norwegian industry is accelerating its digital transformation – not just in theory, but in concrete steps that deliver measurable improvements.

Thinking about the next step in digitalization?

If your company is exploring how to:

  • increase efficiency
  • modernize production processes
  • connect machines and gather high‑value operational data
  • or simply get started with industrial digitalization

…then we would be happy to have a conversation.
